Available in European and standard sizes with an envelope closure and in a range of natural colours, these luxury French linen bedding essentials bring soft, breathable comfort to bedrooms across NZ.

Each piece is stonewashed for a soft, lived-in feel, these timeless pieces add effortless style and breathable luxury to your bedroom. Sold as singles in European size and in pairs in the standard size, they complement our French linen duvet covers and sheets.

Please note: As a natural fibre, each linen piece may vary slightly in colour and texture, giving each item its own unique character and charm.

Care Instructions

French Linen Care Instructions – Keep Your Linen Beautiful

Washing:

Machine wash in cool to lukewarm water (max 30–35°C) with a mild detergent.

Wash linen separately or with similar colours to prevent colour transfer.

Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, they can damage fibres and reduce softness.

Turn duvet covers and pillowcases inside out to protect colours.

Drying:

Line dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area for best results.

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading of colours.

If using a tumble dryer, use low heat and remove while slightly damp to keep linen soft and breathable.

Shake out linen gently before hanging or drying to minimise wrinkles.

Ironing:

Linen naturally softens and becomes more relaxed with use, so ironing is optional.

Iron on low heat while linen is slightly damp.

Natural creases are part of linen’s charm and add a relaxed, luxurious look.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place.

Fold neatly; hanging can distort the shape over time.

Avoid plastic bags, linen needs to breathe.

Extra Tips:

French linen softens naturally with every wash, giving your sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases a cosy, lived-in feel.

Shipping

Domestic Shipping

All items will be shipped from Waitakere, New Zealand.

We aim to dispatch all orders (with the exception of custom orders, bulk orders and pre-orders) the next weekday (excluding public holidays).

Domestic Rates

Shipping for non-rural New Zealand addresses is $8.50

Tiny products like jewellery or greeting cards will show a shipping option of $4.00 for non-rural New Zealand addresses.

If your order is eligible this option will be offered at checkout. 

Rural addresses may incur an additional fee ($3.50) and you will be notified.

Local Delivery

Delivery is available for locals to Waitakere, Auckland.

The cost is $5 per order - delivery times arranged after purchase.

If your address is in range, the delivery option will show at check out.

International Shipping

Shipping to Australia incurs a flat rate cost of $25 (NZD).

Please note that not all items are eligible for flat rate shipping cost of $25 to Australia, this includes breakables, heavy and oversized items. You will be notified if your item will incur higher charges.

If you are outside of Australia, please email us for a shipping quote.

Return policy

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can not offer you an exchange or credit.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be in the original condition as when purchased, being unused, unwashed, and accompanied in the original packaging.

Please send an email to: elise@strangerscollective.co.nz and return it to us at the address provided within 14 days of the receipt of the products.

Once received and assessed we will either replace it, exchange it or offer a store credit for the purchase price. To complete your return, we require a receipt of proof of purchase and also the reason for returning.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale items or TradeMe Reserve items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send an email to: elise@strangerscollective.co.nz and send your item to the address we provide.

Store credits (if applicable)

Once the return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your credit, if we are unable to exchange or replace firstly.

If you are approved, then your store credit will be processed, the credit will be issued and will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

We may at our discretion negotiate contributing to shipping costs,
